The Wisconsin Rent Assistance Program is a federally funded program by the Housing Authority of City of Milwaukee whose aim is to assist low and moderate income families. In case when there is no amicable solution, the tenant must seek another place.
The rent is calculated by the Fair Market Rent programmed. It defines rent including the utilities and all maintenance charges. The Regulations do not allow the participant families to spend more than 40% of their income on rent.
